Refreshers' Week runs from Monday 8 February to Saturday 13 February 2010. We've got bands (Mon), the fair (Tue), comedy (Tue), football (Wed), flirt! (Thu), karaoke (Thu), the quiz (Fri) and a sports day (Sat). Full details are available on our Facebook page.

Union Bar Open on Saturday

The Union Bar will be open this Saturday from 12:30. We're showing Liverpool v Everton at 12:45 and then Six Nations rugby on our new giant screen! Ireland v Italy followed by England v Wales. Check our Facebook event page here.

VAT rate change

The standard rate of VAT increased to 17.5% on 1 January 2010. UCS Students' Union has decided not to pass on the increase to customers in the Campus Shop, Union Bar, Wicked Café or vending machines at this time.

Smart Ticketing Survey

The IP-City Network sustainable travel forum, Suffolk County Council, the Ipswich Central business improvement district, Ipswich Buses and First have asked us to help with conducting a survey on local bus services fares and ticketing. The information you provide will help improve the development of local bus services.
