UCS Students' Union is an autonomous student-led organisation which provides representation, support, services and activities for its members, the students of University Campus Suffolk.
Sports Clubs
Getting involved in a sports club is a great way of meeting people with something in common, getting fit and healthy, taking up a new sport or continuing one you already play. University sport offers the chance to represent your institution at national level against other universities or simply to play a bit of recreational sport with other students. There's no minimum or maximum age, no required fitness level, no pressure to be involved in competitive sport. Just turn up, bring yourself and some water, and give it a go! Other sports suggestions very welcome...
How much does it cost?
To join any UCS Students' Union sports club, you must pay the sports fee at the Union's office. This costs £49 for the academic year (to May 2010) and includes insurance, playing kit, match fees, transport (away matches) and some specialist equipment. This single fee allows you to join any sports club run by UCS Students' Union and is available for purchase after 20 September 2009.
We have a start of term offer price of just £39 until early October. You'll save £10 if you sign up before 3 October 2009. You must sign up before your first training session and at least seven days before your first match. Call to the Union office to complete your application form.
The UCS Students' Union sports fee does not cover gym fees. See the gym link in the menu for details.
