Societies
Societies exist for people with the same interests to meet up, exchange ideas, make friends, find something new, learn something, have fun… The list is endless! Societies can be political, subject related, activity related or just a shared interest in something.
The list of existing societies can be found at the bottom of this page, along with a society proposal form, which you can download, fill out and return to the office if you want to set up a brand new Society!
Whether your hobbies include fashion, charity work, dancing, knitting, dog walking, video games, human rights, religion, the environment or anything else, chances are that you’re not the only one that’s into it!
There’s a list of the existing socities below but if they don't interest you, it's easy to start your own. Just contact Sam Bennett, Vice-President (Rights & Activities) on 01473 338155 or su.vicepresident@ucs.ac.uk.

Yoga Society
Sessions starting 18/01/2011. Tuesdays at 5.15pm in Dance Studio 2, Arts Building, UCS Ipswich
You MUST sign up at the Union office in advance to secure your place, as places are limited to 18.
Bring a yoga mat and water. Blanket and pillow for the cool down are optional.
