UCS UNION IS COMING TO YOUR CAMPUS!

The UCS Union Roadshow is on its way to all the UCS Campuses across the county! This week long event will see the UCS Union Executive Committee travel to Bury St Edmunds, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Otley to meet the students and find out we can represent you BETTER!

Help us support you! Come and meet the President and Vice President, talk to to us about how we can improve things for your time at UCS and find out all about the Union’s plans for the future!

Where can you find us?

Bury St. Edmunds: Monday 6th and Thursday 9th February 09:30-15:30 in the HE Common Room

Great Yarmouth: Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th February 09:30-12:15 in the Reception Area

Lowestoft: Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th February 13:00-18:00 in the Reception Area

Otley: Friday 10th February 09:30-15:30 in the HE Common Room

What will we be doing?

UCS Union's President Jonathan Wright, and Vice-President Sam Bennett, along with other members of the UCS Union Executive Committee will be talking to students, and gathering your thoughts and feelings about how UCS Union can provide more support to help you get the the facilities and education you deserve.

We’ll also be promoting the upcoming Union Elections, for next year’s Student Officers, including the President and Vice-President. We’ll also be telling you all about the BRAND NEW role of CAMPUS OFFICER. The Campus Officer roles have been created so that UCS Students at each of the UCS Campuses have their own representative who sits on the UCS Union Executive Committee, standing up and working for a better deal for students at their Campus.

Why are we inviting you to join us on our Road Show?

1) To raise awareness and knowledge of the services that we provide!

2) To tell you about our upcoming elections, how you can get involved, and the roles that you can stand for!

3) To find out how we can do more to tailor our services and opportunities to your needs!

4) To strengthen our ties with students and staff at your Campus and learn more about you and your lecturers!

5) To find out what you think UCS Union should do to establish a proper democratic structure for students at your Campus!

LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AND FINDING OUT MORE!
