What We Do

Your Union, Representing YOU!

UCS Union exists to support and represent University Campus Suffolk students on everything related to being a student in Higher Education, on both academic and non-academic related issues. We not only represent you to the university and around the campus, but also in the local community and nationally through our affiliation to the National Union of Students (NUS). Our elected officers sit on a number of committees at the University, including the Academic Board, as well as attend local residents meetings with the local council and national student conference, all with the charge of voicing the student opinion.

Becoming a UCS student automatically makes you a member of the students' union and you are then entitled to make use of the Union services and facilities including the advice service, clubs and societies, bar, shop, cafe and much more.

We represent students of UCS to ensure that they are fully supported and getting the best from UCS during their time as a student.

However, UCS Union doesn't just look after the masses. We are able to represent and support each student individually. If you want to talk about your experience at UCS, be sure sure to raise it with your Course Rep, Hall Rep or a member of the UCS Exec.

UCS Union is a democratic organisation run by a student-elected Executive Committee, Trustee Board and Union Council. Students are involved at every point of our legal structure, all of which are elected by the students of UCS.
